Shuttlepro2
To assist with video editing the latest gadget we are testing at work is the Shuttlepro2. On early impressions I have found it to be an excellent addition to my workstation, all the buttons and wheels are fully programmable making the pad completely versitle across a range of multimedia software, and we have found it to be extremely helpful in digital video post production of which we have been doing a lot of lately.
Videos Screening at Gallery North
I am proud to have two pieces of video work currently screening at Gallery North. The videos filmed by myself and Senior Designer for LTech, Haydn Howard, consist of interviews with Dick Ward and his mural of The History of Gateshead at the Queen Elizabeth Memorial Hospital, Gateshead. And Lotte Shankland who has produced protest banners with members of Peace Action Durham, Anti-Apartheid, The Woodcraft Folk and The Durham Miners Support Groups.
3D Studio Max 2010
Today at the university I recieved my own copy of Autodesk 3D Studio Max 2010, as well as the latest versions of Mudbox, Motionbuilder and Combustion. I am looking forward to learning these robust pieces of software and employing them in my future work.
I think the Quick Reference Cube is a very nice touch!
